Continuing Education Courses for Flight Medicine

In a continued commitment for our staff and to offer the best medical service to our clients, Air Ambulance Worldwide is proud to have established a continuing education program founded on current best practices in flight medicine.

These courses are designed to help train and refresh the knowledge base and skills of clinicians helping to transport patients in the air. AAW is providing courses as both a refresher for current medical staff as well as introduction for future flight nurses and paramedics.

For providers looking to enter the field of aviation medicine, we offer “The Basics of Flight Medicine.” This course is an introduction to flight medicine for any clinician interested in working in air ambulance. This course is required for all paramedics wanting to fly in the state of Florida. This class is also strongly recommended for any nurse wishing to enter the field.

For current providers we offer an Air Medical Refresher Course to keep your knowledge of flight physiology and patient care at the top of your game.
