Flight Physiology Air Ambulance Crew Education Course
This course is used to instruct future medical crews on the basics of flight physiology. A beginner’s course of understand how altitude can affect the human body. The course will review basic parts of the atmosphere and gas laws. The course will then go over how that will affect patient condition and how to address those conditions.
This course goes over the minimum any provider will need to know in order to treat a patient in the aviation environment. Paramedics wishing to fly will require the full Basics of Flight Medicine course to operate in the state of Florida.
The course will consist one, 8-hour day. Starting at 8am and running to 4pm. The course will be a mix of lectures, case studies and hands on simulation of patient care and loading.

The cost for this course is $50.
