Critical Care Air Transport Services Available for Patients Who Need to Travel
For top-notch critical care air transport service to and from cities around the globe, trust the medical transportation professionals at Air Ambulance Worldwide, Inc. We assist men, women, and children who are medically compromised and unable to fly without some level of assistance. Our pilots and medical staff are all extensively trained, seasoned professionals, and our company has an unblemished safety record. Whether you, a loved one, or a patient in your care needs to travel with medical assistance, Air Ambulance Worldwide is the company to call.
We offer three levels of service for patients, depending on their needs. These services are:
- Air ambulance – We offer private flights aboard specially equipped aircraft that are like a flying ICU, so we are able to handle any medical contingency. Our medical staff accompany the patient from his or her current bed, all the way to the receiving facility, even providing ground transportation to and from the aircraft for easy boarding and disembarking.
- Commercial medical escort – For patients who choose to fly commercially, we can provide a trained professional to provide medical, hygiene, and comfort care from his or her current bed all the way to the receiving facility.
- Commercial stretcher service – If a patient needs to fly internationally and must remain prone during the process, we can make the necessary arrangements to have the airline accommodate the stretcher, and will provide the necessary care to keep the patient safe and comfortable during transport.
Regardless of the level of service, our flight coordinator will handle all of the logistics of the trip, from booking the flight, to arranging the details with the receiving facility, and everything in between. We will even ensure that the patient’s medical records are transferred to the proper caregivers so there is no interruption in medical attention.
